Scanners and Tablets

Once connected, scanners and tablets will reconnect automatically when you enter a track or session.
(BT icon will go yellow, then blue to show connected)
If a scanner is not sending data to the tablet -
Restart the scanner and the app
Check that the BT icon is not grey. If it is, re-pair the scanner to the tablet
Setting Up Tablets with BlueTooth scanners
Scanners:
Set scanners to PATT mode
Set scanners to 30 minute sleep mode
Tablet:
Do not download updates
Allow Popns app to use unlimited power
Do not allow Android/Tablet OS to disable app features
Set screen timeout to 10 or 30 minutes
Set tablet to dark mode
Name tablet with unique ID (group using tablet or venue)
